Easy Chocolate Truffle Recipe

Easy Hand Dipped Truffles

Follow the easy recipe for our delightful truffle.

Place your decorated truffles in the truffle candy cups.

Place some colored tissue paper and/or crinkle paper on the bottom of a plastic truffle box.

Tie bows using wired ribbon and curling ribbon for best results.

These easy chocolate truffles make great fundraisers!

Easy Ganache Recipe (Truffle's Center)

(You can add our flavor oils to create something even more scrumptious! 10 drops per pound of chocolate)

Easy Ganache (Truffle Center)

1 1/2 lbs. (2 bags) dark chocolate

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 1/2 teaspoons Madagascar vanilla

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt Guittard chocolate according to package directions. Once chocolate has melted, add half of the whipping cream. Stir thoroughly. Add remaining whipping cream. Stir, and then add vanilla. Stir until ingredients are completely mixed, cover. Allow ganache to harden at room temperature (about 2 hours). Using truffle scoop, scoop out ganache and hand roll into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls.

Outer Coating - 1 lb. (1 and 1/4 bags) dark chocolate In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate according to package directions. Working rapidly, drop ganache center into melted chocolate. Cover entire truffle center. Lift out dipping tool. Remove excess chocolate by tapping truffle on the bowl and place it on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Put truffles in the refrigerator for a shiny outer coating. Fill 2oz. squeeze bottle with the white melted chocolate. Drizzle over truffles in a crossing pattern. Once dried, place truffles in truffle cups.

Additional suggestions: Want a little more decoration on your easy truffles? Try candy confetti, candy flavoring oil (added to the ganache), candy coloring (added to the white chocolate before decorating).
